Why does good heat dissipation of notebook computers usually mean stronger performance?

Notebook is a complex, if the heat dissipation capacity is not enough, but there is no limit to power consumption, according to the laws of thermodynamics.Because every part of the machine is generating heat, this heat accumulates in the small body of the notebook, causing the temperature to rise rapidly.

When the temperature rises to the "melting point" of some parts and materials, 100% of the machine will be damaged, and even the motherboard will be burned and the hard disk will hang up.

For the above reasons, manufacturers usually add protection mechanisms when making products:
There are two protection mechanisms:
1. Passive protection mechanism: processor frequency reduction and graphics card frequency reduction. When the temperature reaches a certain threshold, trigger the processor and other components to reduce the frequency,so as to limit the heat generation and control the temperature drop within the bearable range of the machine, so as to achieve the purpose of protecting the machine.

2. Active protection mechanism: it is well known that there are three ways: fan, heat pipe and water circulation. Among them, the fan, that is, the traditional air cooling and water circulation, is water cooling.The purpose is to quickly take away the heat accumulated in the laptop, so as to avoid the temperature rising to the "frequency reduction threshold".

Here, we need to understand that the essential purpose of heat dissipation is to protect, and the essence of protection is because of the objective law of thermodynamic exchange.

Therefore, to judge the ultimate performance of a notebook from a macro point of view, first look at its heat dissipation capacity!

For example, the same CPU processor:Dual fans are usually stronger than single fans,double heat pipes are usually stronger than single heat pipes,large area air intake is stronger than small area.
